The Organization

Ohio REALTORS® is a statewide professional trade association serving real estate professionals across Ohio. As the organization continued to grow, leadership recognized the importance of hiring individuals who not only had the right technical skill set, but who also aligned with the organization’s culture, communication style, and long-term goals.

Context and Opportunity

At the height of COVID, Allison Wiley unexpectedly found herself searching for a new opportunity during one of the most uncertain hiring markets in recent history. Like many professionals at the time, she was navigating uncertainty while quickly applying for positions and exploring potential opportunities.

Her experience with Paramount Consulting Group immediately felt different from the traditional recruiting process. Rather than simply matching résumés to job descriptions, Paramount took time to understand her background, aspirations, communication style, and what she truly wanted in her next role. The Transition from Candidate to Client

After successfully joining Ohio REALTORS®, Allison quickly grew within the organization and was eventually promoted to Vice President & Communications. As her leadership responsibilities expanded, so did the need to build a strong team around her.

When Ohio REALTORS® needed support hiring for newly created positions, including a Video Graphic Designer and a Director of Communications, Allisonturned back to Paramount Consulting Group, this time as a client.

One of the biggest challenges was time. Like many leadership teams, Ohio REALTORS® was balancing day-to-day responsibilities while also trying to manage a detailed hiring process. Paramount stepped in to help streamline the search process from start to finish, assisting with job descriptions, sourcing, screening, candidate communication, and interview coordination.

More importantly, Paramount focused heavily on finding individuals who would fit the organization’s culture and team dynamic, not just candidates with impressive résumés. That approach proved to be critical as both hires integrated quickly into the organization and became valuable members of the team.

Results

The partnership resulted in multiple successful outcomes for Ohio REALTORS®. Allison’s original placement evolved into a long-termleadership role within the organization, ultimately leading to her promotion to Vice President of Marketing & Communications.

In addition, Paramount Consulting Group successfully helped fill two key positions for Allison’s team. Both hires proved to be strong cultural andprofessional fits, contributing positively to the organization almost immediately.
